Accessibility Statement
Rock Paper Scissors is for everyone. So is this website. That's the whole idea.

Our Commitment
The World Rock Paper Scissors Association (WRPSA) is committed to making this site accessible to people of all abilities. Rock Paper Scissors is one of the most inherently accessible games ever created. Three gestures, no equipment, no barriers. We want the website to match that energy.
Standards
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines cover how to make web content more accessible to people with visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.
What We Do
- Semantic HTML and ARIA attributes throughout the site
- Sufficient color contrast ratios for all text
- Full keyboard navigation for every interactive element
- Screen reader and assistive technology support
- Responsive design that works across devices and zoom levels
- Text alternatives for non-text content
- No content that could cause seizures or physical reactions
Game Accessibility
RPS is inherently one of the most accessible games in existence. It requires only three distinct gestures and can be played by almost anyone. For our digital platform:
- All game actions can be performed via keyboard, mouse, or touch
- Game state is communicated through text, not just visual indicators
- Animations respect system-level motion preferences
- Color is never the sole means of conveying game information
Known Limitations
We're working on it. Some areas aren't perfect yet:
- Some older content pages may not yet meet all WCAG 2.1 AA criteria
- Third-party embedded content may have its own accessibility limitations
- Real-time multiplayer features may present challenges for some screen readers
Feedback
If you encounter accessibility barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please let us know:
- Email: accessibility@wrpsa.com
We respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days and will work to resolve issues as quickly as possible. We take this seriously. A game for everyone means a website for everyone.
Enforcement
